My move in March went well, as well as moving can be anyway; only broke one piece of furniture. It took me at least two full days to recover physically. I've always hated moving (I've move a lot!) but this time seemed the worst. Guess I'm getting old. Now that I'm all settled in at my new place, Model-Train-Tips.com is moving. More details in Featured Projects below. There have been a few tweaks and updates to the website. Read about them in What's New? below. A big welcome to all of the new subscribers over the past few weeks. |

Joao in Portugal emailed a question recently asking how to properly apply Noch ground cover (grass). I don't have any experience with this product so I did some reasearch. See the article I wrote about what I learned: Using Noch Ground Cover in Your Model Train Layout Scenery |

Website Move I'm planning to make this switch Friday morning (Minnesota time) so everything should be back up at the new host by Friday afternoon. If you have any problems accessing the site, just check back later in the day. Thank you in advance for your patience during this move. Newsletter Format One of the reasons I don't get the newsletter out as often as I'd like is because I have to put a lot of time into creating each one. It was my original intent to write a personable newsletter, but it was also my intent to get one out every couple of weeks. With my hectic schedule, the end result has been too few newsletters. The new format will be structured to automatically go out every Thursday if there have been any updates made to the website during the previous seven days. Each newsletter will have excerpts of recently added articles, etc. My goal with this change is to provide more information in a timely manner. I'd like to hear back from you about this change as well as any ideas you might have. Thanks |
